Ok. Usually once the updates for a patch are out its pretty much said and done. Well this time the notes keep changing and more interesting stuff comes up. This will be a short post as I will only cover any new changes.

• Battleground Mark conversion images are up on wow.com. Mounts are 50K a piece. Other gear is also listed.
• Cosmetic Overcloaks - Have a cloak that looks like you pulled up your grandma’s rug and threw it over your shoulder? Now represent your faction and possibly your race with the stylish new overcloaks.
• Celestial Dragon pet - like the olympic dragon but made of stars….oooooh…aaaahhh
• Celestial Steed - hopefully a nice starry horse (no pics as of yet)
• Pet Bombling and Lil’ Smoky are no longer BOP…Engineers…you just got a cashcow
• A few more FP’s have been added

This patch looks like its going to be fun.

There is also a datamined image of a 2-seater rocket…dare i hope…flying mounts with passengers??

It has been a while since I found a patch worth posting on, but 3.3.3 and those that follow will definately be world enders.

Patch 3.3.3 went up on the PTR about a week ago and the notes are full of changes and adjustments getting made before the whole world blows up.

*Random battleground system for you PvPers out there. It is planned on working like the random dungeon finder with bonus honor if you win the battleground. Also in the PvP realm, Honor marks are going the way of the dodo. Items that previously require the marks will be adjusted to the new honor and/or rating system. I dont have anyone on the ptr so im not sure of new prices on anything.

*Culling of Stratholme - we can skip the pleasantries and get to massacreing those infected villagers even faster because we can now skip the initial dialogue in this instance. Sadly…Arthas is still as overbearing as always.

*Class changes - As always i dont get into the specific class changes, I leave all the theorycrafting to you guys. There are a few buff and nerfs all around but the big notice is the buff to DK tanking.

*Frozo the Renowned - No it’s not Bozo the clown’s iligetimate child from the drunken night in Miami. Frozo will be helping you clear out your banks by exchanging that giant stack of Frozen Orbs for things that are more usefull.  Included in his wares are Crusader and Runed orbs, All the Eternal elements, Frost Lotus and a nice “left out in the snowstorm wet” mount for our Tailors - a Frosty Flying Carpet

*Mechanostriders get buffed with….wait…seriously?!?….ok…they have a new sound *shrug*

*Profession changes - woe to the moneymaker (there are a ton of changes here)

• Recipies with runed orbs have had their mats reduced
• Monsterbelly Appetite daily fishing quest no longer wants you to go to the Great Sea….just walk to VH and fish in the moat.
• Inscription - recipies that needed 2 inks only need one …aparently you have learned to write shorthand
• Mining - Titansteel is off cooldown…watch the price drop like a riding mount off the Dalaran landing area.
• Tailoring - Glacial bag - now on a 7 day cooldown…but Moonshroud, Ebonweave and Spellweave are off cooldown.

*The auction house is getting revamped with a lot of options that were available in Auctionlite and Auctioneer - Mass stack listing and right clicking to make auctions

*Random Dungeons - the Deserter Buff has been upped to 30 min from 15 and is no longer a debuff. Vote kicks will now allow you to give a reason to the others in the group for why you initiate a kick.  Finally the most interesting part of this one….Holiday bosses will no longer be sitting waiting for us in the regular instance. You will have to use the RDF to que up for the holiday dungeon and you will get a loot bag that might drop the rare items…generic drops will still drop off the boss.

Other than that, random UI changes and edits.

OK…I have to note it and will not delve too much into it until more info is dropped. Patch 3.3.5 HAS been announced. We will be getting another raid under Wyrmrest Temple. Halion the Twilight Destroyer and his lackeys Baltharus the Warborn, General Zarithrian and Saviana Ragefire.

For a final note…It has come to my attention that I must do something that does not sit well with me. All gnomes are getting an eviction notice. You must begin to pack you belongings and prepare to be punted into another place of residence. Failure to comply with this notice will alert the dwarven counsel that you are more than willing to be bound, gagged and used for the annual ice crown winter games as a curling stone. All gnome humor aside, quests and achievements have been datamined that point towards the gnomes using all the windex they can find and finally reclaiming their confusing city.

Its beginning to look like the end of the world as we know it rocks.

Well, its time again for some more imp-sized bites of information gathered from around the web.

Holidays are approaching and the Litch King is falling. There is definitely going to be a lot of  wintry cleanup in both RL and in game.

Patch 3.3 sounds like its going to be epic.

• Tier 10 Armor sets are available for viewing (at least my lock buddies and I have something to grab a rogue by…a noose)
• Dungeon LFG complete revamp - group with completely random strangers from your whole battlegroup, do a heroic more than once a day (well…randomly), Group with enough people and you can get a title and a pup.
• Heroics - All heroics will drop Emblems of Conquest - time for some of our alts to seriously get geared up
• 2, count em’ 2, Epic quest chains….one of which will give you Shadowmorne out of 25 man IC
• Hunters have a new target for a rare pet - Arcturis the Spirit beast Bear
• Breanni will have two more pets to buy…an albino snake and a calico cat
• As Harris Pilton gets older she gets more bags. Actually a 24 slot BoE portable hole for 3k
• New chance to get your “old salty”title….a new fishing tournament is going to be held in Northrend
• Revamp to Valentines day….not much known except a few quests and a “Big Love Rocket” mount…..for some reason I get the creeps just reading that.
• High level Rep requirement enchants are BoA….no grinding with your alts to get one single enchant
• Oculus gets nerfed again to try to make it actually playable
• Naxx - you can now skip all the wings and go straight to Sapphiron
• Best Thing Ever - Quest tracking in the games UI….no updates to carbonite every 3 days

Thats the most impressive things that i saw. There are a lot of miscellaneous changes to all our classes…but you just have to read whatever applies to your toons. As always, its going to be a grand old time having fin in the Litch Kings living room.

It has turned out that I have a bit of time before I run off to leave a few bite size snacks of news. Hope you enjoy what i could gather and plan on much more.

Patch 3.3 info….Yay for killing the Litch King

• Icecrown Raid - 12 Encounters with the final being Arthas himself. Ability to toggle the hard mode in fights aparently in the user interface. Loot ilvl in the Raid is 251 for 10-man normal, 264 for 10-man heroic and 25-man normal, 277 for 25-man heroic.
• 3 new dungeons…..kinda. Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron and Halls of Reflection are the 3 new dungeons located in Icecrown. They are linked to a epic chain quest so that you have to clear one before you can progress to the others.
• New Raid quests….yes I said RAID!! We get to take our  hatred of bosses from the “proof of demise…” daily heroic quests and bump them to a higher level. Bosses noted so far are: Lord Marrowgar (icecrown), Lord Jaraxxus, XT-002, Ignis, Razorscale, FLame Leviathan, Malygos, Patchwerk, Razuvious, Noth, Anub’Rekhan and Sartharion. Another great reason to pull off some Naxx runs.
• Valentines day might have its own boss - due to some odd spells that were pulled from the ptr it seems like we might get a bit of a direbrewesque boss to pummel endlessly for the Day of Love…I’m hopeing its a patchwork boss with candy in one hand and a bouquet in the other wanting to find his george to pet and squeeze.
• Finally some minor odds and ends that will make life easier for all of us…especially with Cataclysm looming on the horizon..(mmmm Worgen Druid): All spell ranks for lower level characters have reduced mana cost which helps along with the mana regen rate being increased up to 200% (which goes down as you level to higher levels)

Thats the biggest things I noted on the new patch.

A couple other things piqued my interest a bit. Hippogryphs will finally be able to walk (hope those poor guys havent atrophied after all these years), and spell ranks will soon work like the Warlock and Hunter pet abilities..You train it once and then it levels as applicable as you level up.

There are also come nifty images of some new totem designs for the Orcs, the Trolls and the Dwarves

Enchanters….dont forget to go by your favorite trainer and pick up an interesting new “ability” Abyssal Shatter…It can turn those pesky Abyss Crystals into Infinite Dust or Greater Cosmic Essences.

Please place your mind in the gutter and join me in what hopefully will be a soul-stealing weekly post dealing with news from all over WoW.

Currently I am getting ready to dissapear for a couple weeks for some National Guard classes in South Carolina, but as soon as i get back plan on having a abundance of mind numbing warcrafty news goodness.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up on what to expect from the posts and lay out the request for specific topics that are popular interest.

As for now, I plan on bringing to light the dark and devilish mysteries of:

• Pets, mounts and rare just for fun stuff for all you collectors out there
• Upcoming holidays and tips to get all the gear/trinkets (plus things that make life easier, like the ability to sell back Brewfest clothing)
• New patch notes on 5-man dungeons and 10/25-man raids
• Anything else you guys are interested in

I’m going to shy away from and raid strats as Padred, Honey and Ran look at those a lot. Also buffs/nerfs that show up with the patches will probably be absent, as I usually put very little time into researching those (got to love a class that rarely gets nerfed :P)
